We will talk about the three-act, eight-sequence story structure and the difference between a tragic and a non-tragic story. Every story is laid out in a three-act story structure. We call it a three-act story structure but it is effectively four acts and I'll show you why. The first act is about a quarter of your whole book and it has two sequences, sequence one, sequence two.
