Painting Realistic Watercolor Landscapes

This course gave me more freedom in using textures and experimenting with colours.

This is an excellent course. I learnt many new techniques which were explained clearly and in detail. I also enjoyed learning about how to use different types of brushes to create interesting textures and marks as well as the unusual colour combinations to depict sunlight and shadows.

Richard is a very good instructor I can relate to. His course has shown me many more ways I can introduce other mediums to my watercolors.

Really enjoyed the process. As a total novice to painting it has helped me gain a perspective on how to arrive at a scene on paper. If I’m honest it was a step too advanced for my ability, but non the less I feel I’ve gained insight and a determination to continue. Thank you.
