“In this lesson we sculpt the lungs. I took one of the drafts of the 1-1 scale drawing to use as a reference for shape and size and covered it with a plastic sheet to protect the design. Then I'd have to make a tinfoil core for these lungs because they're a bit too thick to fully make the modeling clay. This is because drying could form cracks and could also put too much to dry. So I take the tinfoil, I tear off a piece and crumple it up. I try to make a shape smaller than the lung and not too tall.
