“ Telling a Story with Color Now, you can see that I have a pretty good idea of how the value layer will work. This is the fun part where we'll start mapping the gradient. Make sure that your sketch layer is locked. You also want to duplicate your grayscale layer because the gradient mapping bit will go directly on top of the layer. If you don't like the gradient mapping, it's always good to have a duplicate just in case. This is how to get started. Have the grayscale selected, we'll go to Adjustments and then you'll see Gradient Map. You'll see that there are a bunch of different palettes ...”
