Character Sketchbook: Find Your Voice

Carlos Sallas is a distinguished graphic artist and designer hailing from a small town in southern Morelos, Mexico. His deep passion for drawing has led him to work in a variety of fields, including editorial illustration, animation, advertising, and tattooing.

He has collaborated with well-known brands like Moleskine, Wacom, and Kraken, and has contributed to projects with studios such as Ánima, Fotosíntesis, and 4M2Q Studios. Carlos has also taught workshops and given lectures at institutions like Escena, Coco School, Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla, and the Pixelatl Festival.

Among his most notable projects are the comic "La Canción del Lago," which won first place at the 2019 Pixelatl Festival, and "San Misterio," an animated series and comic that has received accolades at various international festivals.
