“ Cutting and Joining the Frame Now we have our four pieces all cut to size, we need to tidy up these edges so that they will glue nicely and smoothly together. Let's start with one of our long pieces. As I mentioned before, I've attached a piece of sandpaper to the table. That should stop it from moving around. I find that one of the easiest ways to tidy up your angle and get rid of these little grooves is to hold your piece of wood up against your rafter square with a 45-degree angle and very carefully... rub the edge of the mitre against the sandpaper.
