The pace of your course was a bit slow in some areas and not well described or explained in others. Over all, I was very pleased with the course and would take another. Suggest a third camera on your palette and your paints.

This was one of the best courses I have seen online. Excellent teacher, very clear and succinct . Also he is a terrific artist .

Great style and good course however I would have loved more explanation as he moved through. His tone and colour work is really interesting but I felt he needed to explain it more. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

Great course, Tommy Kim has an amazing painting style and I enjoyed following his techniques. Only criticism: Since it's a beginner level course, I would've liked to see more detailed explanations in many instances. For example when he painted the different color schemes, the video only showed the first one in full length, then cut to when all 3 examples were ready. I would've enjoyed seeing how he mixed those colour etc. Nevertheless it's a great course!

It was a pleasure learning from this accomplished artist. He explains things clearly and has very good pointers.

Tommy explains how he thinks about a scene and then goes on to show how he uses shapes, color, and values to decide on a composition that tells the story of his scene. He is clear and calm in his approach. Throughout the videos, he demonstrates and explains how to use his materials and techniques. The final project is an excellent summary of his process. I highly recommend his course.
