Try to get to the point where you’re satisfied with your composition before moving forward. · Find reference images for your mood board Spend some time selecting the right images for your mood board so they are completely aligned with your vision for the direction you want to take with your illustration. · Use non-destructive techniques in Photoshop Take advantage of using multiple layers, smart objects, layer masks, and adjustment layers to make your illustration easy to edit at all times. · Have fun experimenting with Photoshop mock-ups Lastly, use various Photoshop mock-ups to open yourself to see the different possibilities and contexts your artwork can live in.
