“In our last lesson, we used our mind maps to create a sketch. In this lesson, we're going to be looking closely, using the second method to produce a sketch. To begin our sketch, I've printed out a piece that I did previously for Independent Schools Magazine, Finding Teachers of Color, and I'm going to use a piece of Strathmore drawing paper. I'm going to tape this reproduction of my final drawing so that it doesn't move once I put the drawing paper on top of it, and use Lightbox to be able to see the image below.
