“ Initial Layers Now that I've given the wet-on-wet layer some time to dry, I'll be working on the seeds and these are a much darker red. I'm laying down background colours at the moment, so I'll work on one block of seed at a time. The difficulty with pomegranate seeds is that they're translucent, so we can see the little pip inside. They're also shiny and angular in shape, so there are some things to think about. I'll work on this group here and paint the seeds in the creamy pink colour and put a stronger colour around it while they're still wet. Do test your colours. That's what this bit...”
