“ Initial Layers In this lesson, I'll show how to apply your initial layers to your painting and also how to decide which techniques to use. On the table, I still have my fruit, my reference photo, and some watercolour equipment now, including this piece of paper, which is to test my colours. Remember, you can't tell what the colour will look like if you're just looking at your plate. Also, I've got my trusty cloth, which I'll use to regulate the amount of water or paint on my brush.
