About the video: Creating the Final Drawing

Overview

“It's finally time to sketch out your visualization! To end this unit, I will model how to use the underlying architecture and design rules you’ve created to develop the drawing. I will also share some data-drawing tips I’ve learnt from 52 weeks of the 'Dear Data' project! Finally, you will discover how to create a legend. This will ensure that any newcomer is able to interpret your drawn visualization (if you choose to share it, that is!). ”

In this video lesson Stefanie Posavec addresses the topic: Creating the Final Drawing, which is part of the Domestika online course: Analog Data Visualization for Storytelling. Explore the narrative potential of data and learn to create engaging imagery that tells a story using analog materials.

Then I also have that thumbnail sketch as a reminder of how everything needs to be organised on the page. Finally and most importantly, I have my spreadsheet with all of my data because I will be referring to this as I draw every aspect of my d...”
