“Export of the letters Now I will explain some possibilities for exporting your vectors and how to continue working with it in After Effects. I have all the letters I want to export, and first of all it is important that I make coherent, flat paths out of all forms. E.g. with letters like the D the white areas must be removed. I do that with the shape creation tool. I hold OPTION or ALT while doing this and remove the white areas. Now I have a flat, coherent form, with which I can continue to work.
