“ Persimmons in Senbyouhou In this lesson, I'll show you the steps I follow in Sumi-e painting. I believe every artist has their own method. I hope I can guide you well by selecting four different plants. To start with a simple example, let's paint three persimmons in Senbyouhou. For the persimmon fruit and the leaves, we will build on the exercise we did in Unit 2, Lesson 2. For the twigs, we will build on the exercises we did in Unit 2, Lesson 3. She became a qualified calligraphy teacher at 24 and had her own calligraphy school with over 250 students until she relocated to the UK.
