“In this lesson we are going to paint the half of the pier. First, we will create the general volume, and the shape. And we will add the texture as well. I'm starting to work with my Big squirrel mop again. I will be painting the pit of the fruit first. As you can see on the photo reference, it's practically white. You could use... just some water. to pre-wet it. But I think that it's better to add a little bit of white pigment. And it may seem strange because we already have white paper underneath. but in my opinion, adding some a bit of a white pigment will increase this feeling of realism...”
