About the final project for: Introduction to Digital Self-Portrait Photography

Introduction to Digital Self-Portrait Photography

“We have come to the end of the course. Thank you for accompanying me! I hope you've taken a liking to it and feel comfortable creating your own self-portrait. I leave you below the main steps to follow to complete your project. This can be the self-portrait you made following the exercises or you can create a new one! In any case, take care to document the different stages of your creation and add a brief explanation of what you did in each of them as well as your choices. Mood board and preparation Create your inspirational mood board and get your outfit ready for the photo. Next, set up your home studio and make your filters. I advise you to test them before choosing which one you are going to use.

Set up your camera gear taking space and light into account.
The Photo Shoot Pass in front of the objective! Vary the poses and have fun. Remember that there is no one in the room but you, so let go.
Once you're done, you can select your photos and edit them.
The self-portrait is not an easy exercise. Congratulations on seeing this project through to completion! I look forward to discovering your beautiful creations. Don't forget to share it with the community. To do this, click on the “Create your project” button. I invite you to share with me on the forum your questions and needs for clarification. I will answer them as soon as possible and will be delighted to help you, step by step, and to see how you have appropriated this lesson that I took great pleasure in sharing with you. In the meantime, I encourage you to exchange with your comrades and comment on their posts. This kind of support is important! See you soon !”

“Final project Welcome to the last video of this Domestika course on the self-portrait. Thank you for taking all these lessons with me on a subject that is very close to my heart. I am often asked for tips on my way of working. I was happy to share that here. For your portrait, it is important to prepare in advance, whether for the moodboard or your styling. Think about getting organized to create a mini studio that suits you and don't forget to play with your optical filters. Feel free to use anything around you to make a more creative photo. Don't limit yourself to the filters I showed you...”
