DIY Printing for Album Covers and Pins

“During the lessons I taught you all the secrets to print perfect pins and vinyl covers, now it's your turn! Follow these basic steps to complete your project. Don't just copy my example, but experiment and invent something new. In this way, you will learn to independently apply the techniques I have taught you and you will have fun developing the design you like best. Choose the concept It is essential to have a goal that guides the research for the creative project! When starting to collect references, be careful to use copyright-free images. Create file If necessary, scan the images you found in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator. When creating the file with the design of your choice, remember to correctly set the resolution of the graphics for printing.

Choose the cards to work on You can use colored, fluorescent, or cards that have already been printed. There are no limits!
Make your own pins Use the 38mm pin machine and cut out the paper using the circular cutter.
Solvent printing It's time to print the vinyl cover. Since you will be working with solvent, remember to put on a mask and gloves before starting!
Hot stamping Before using hot foils, it is essential to laser print your cover image.
Fold, cut and glue the cover Once you have completed the printing phase, help yourself with the bone and create the creasing that will be used to fold the paper correctly. Then, apply the double-sided tape, cut out the cover and glue all the flaps.
Create the packaging At this point, have fun creating an original and captivating packaging for your pins and display your work.
Now share your project in the forum! Show everyone both the final result and the processing steps, documenting each step with an image and describing what you did with a brief explanation. As soon as possible, I will be happy to comment on your work. Watch colleagues' projects and encourage them by commenting on what they have shared - don't miss the precious opportunity to interact with the creative community. Thanks again for making this journey with me!”
