Character Painting with Gouache and Colored Pencils

Sarah Walsh is an artist and illustrator with over 20 years of experience. She completed a BFA in graphic design in New York, where she grew up, and went on to work as an in-house designer and illustrator at Hallmark Cards before starting her freelance career.

Since then, Sarah has collaborated with brands like PBS, The Washington Post The Guardian, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, and Crate & Barrel. She also runs and creates artwork for Tigersheep Friends, an illustration-based shop that she founded in collaboration with a fellow illustrator. Sarah works with a variety of materials, from gouache to pencil, and has experience in artistic mediums from pattern design and hand lettering to home decor design.
