“In this lesson, I'll introduce you to the InDesign grid and how to set it up. Let me explain you the grid system, which we use to align and layout our design elements. So setting up a grid is basically breaking down a design space. So this is my design space. I'm breaking it up into a very simple grid. I'm going to do this horizontally as well. And once I have a grid, this helps me to position my design elements onto it. So I can position a title on it. I can put a body copy on it. Obviously, it will be much straighter in InDesign.
