About the final project for: Tufting Gun Technique for Products from 0 to 100
Mixed textile techniques for home decor
“Thank you very much for taking this journey of creativity and learning with us! We hope you found inspiration and knowledge to apply to your work. We have created a list of essential steps that we would like to see in your project: • Do your research on references and colors. From there, select what interests you most to produce your mood board, which will be the guide for the development of your art. • Create a drawing in the way you feel most comfortable, it can be a manual collage or not, a drawing made with some software of your choice, a handmade drawing, among others. The important thing is to use your creativity. • Now is the time to make your mold. Transfer your drawing to the actual size of the piece and use the acetate to create the mold. Cut out the shapes so that you can easily transfer the design to the fabric. • Use the gun to learn how it works and practice the exercises we teach in the course. Then, transfer your design to the fabric and fill your tapestry with tufting. • Finish your project by removing the tapestry from the frame. Apply it to the stool and finish it carefully, as this is what will guarantee the quality of the piece. • Remember to trim with scissors and your work will be done! Now just take photos and share the results here and on your social networks. :)
