Expressive Architectural Sketching with Colored Markers

Me sentí segura desde el comienzo del curso por la impronta del profesor: por su forma simple y directa de explicar; su forma de mostrarme los trazos y el proceso de colorear el original. Hasta me queda la impresión de estar usando su gesto cuando trazo mis líneas. Uno de los pocos cursos que vuelvo a visitar y me acompaña en el desarrollo cada vez que comienzo un nuevo boceto. Agradezco de corazón su generosidad en cada lección.

In our days, it is so difficult to develop an artistic style that is unique and immediately recognizable. Albert Kiefer has done that with his architectural drawings and marker coloring style. I am a great fan and I am so happy to be able to follow a course in which I can watch "more closely" his steps producing art works. Higly recommended!

This is a very fun course! I'm learning how to create an expressive sketch of a building with playful linework, volume, and lots of color. This course is for anybody who wants to learn to sketch buildings in a quick and expressive way.

I am a retired art teacher looking for new ideas in my own work. Albert’s course is inspirational and a pleasure to learn from. He makes it easy for beginners to follow, through his visuals and instruction, and interesting for those (like myself) who consider themselves to be lifelong learners. I appreciate his loose gestural style, the use of a limited palette to express character in his drawings, and am anxious to try some of his techniques for using markers.

As a professional illustrator, I can honestly say that the level rating for this should be 'Appropriate for all levels' instead of Beginner. Albert has a very efficient manner of explaining/ talking you through his thoughts. Nothing is throw-away, everything he says is important. I tend to be very stuck on 'neat' line work when I work, so to see someone create so much warmth in such a loose manner, while still staying true to the fundamentals gives us permission to break out of our bonds.

I really enjoyed Albert's course. It is instructive but fosters creativity and experimentation. Thoroughly recommended!
