Don't be afraid to manoeuvre it around, put your hands where it's most comfortable. For now, as my stitches are a bit deeper, I'll turn my piece and work from the inside. All I'll do is lift it and push the needle through from underneath, and continue as I was, as it's a bit easier to manoeuvre.
