Personally, I like Phil's communication approach. He gets the main points across and is honest with what is his technique or interpretation. I find too many photographer teachers come from a position of "do this!" Phil does not. Thanks.

I love Phil's work and have been following him on IG for a while. I found the course had some pearls of wisdom and it explained concisely his method, how he sees the world and I learned quite a few golden nuggets which I can apply to my own work.

Very well for Beginner like me who start photoshooting portraits

He explained the technical aspect of photography very well, but what's more, I enjoyed listening to his philosophy of photography. When he talked about "happy accidents" that he allows to happen, I realized that I have been doing my photography based on somewhat the legit structure. His course made me not only aware of that but also helped me to accept that. Thanks so much, Phil. Love your Instagram!!

Sehr gut erklärt - toller Stil!

O curso é muito bom, o professor é calmo e muito didático. Recomendo.

Phil’s course leaves almost no questions left to ask. His calm and concentrated way of telling us what he does and why he does it is a pleasure to listen to. Being a portrait photographer myself, there were may things I knew already but it was great to get reaffirmed through the course by Phil. He is a great photographer! Chapeau!
