Motion Design in After Effects: Make Compelling Cinemagraphs

“Thank you for taking this course! I hope you learned a lot and you enjoy working on your own animated poster. I would like to recall the steps you need to follow to complete your project: Sketch your ideas Choose the poster you want to animate. Then, come up with three concepts for how you plan to animate the art and create a simple storyboard sketch.

Prepare the file for After Effects Reference your storyboard to determine if you need to do any Photoshop retouching or extending of the artwork. Animate in After Effects Import your layered file into After Effects and start animating.
Work on the details and finish your piece Add some easing to the keyframes and apply animation principles where appropriate. Then, render the final composition.
Show your process by adding pictures and a brief description of all the steps, as well as the final result. Share them in the forum by clicking on "Create your project". I will be there from time to time to check on you. Remember to comment on other projects to give feedback to the rest of the students. Good luck and see you soon! ”

“Thank you for taking this course. Have fun with this. Don't be discouraged if it's not coming out like you imagined right away. you can go back to the animation as many times as necessary to finesse the timing and refine the animation. Don't forget that your animated poster is not going to be the same as mine. So choose one that excites you. I encourage you to participate in the forum. Comment on each other's work, and interact with the community. I will be in the forum checking out your work. I'm looking forward to what you create. Thank you so much for taking this course.”
