“In this lesson, I'll show you how to putty your stained glass panel and also how to polish it and patinate the leads. When you're making large stained glass panels, one of the techniques you can use is you make a runny putty called stained glass cement. And what you would do is you would brush that all over the panel with a scrubbing brush and you push it everywhere. And it's kind of a messy process. You then need to use whiting, which is calcium carbonate powder. to sprinkle over it and absorb excess moisture. And because It's only a small panel because I don't want to make a lot of mess. ...”

Flora Jamieson is a stained-glass artist based in Dorset, England. Growing up with a creative mother meant she began working with her hands from a young age. After graduating from university with a degree in media, Flora began working in a design studio where she rediscovered a fascination with stained-glass art that started in childhood. She completed multiple courses in the craft before going on to work in a stained-glass studio in London. After moving to Dorset to start a family, Flora began creating from her own studio and selling her work online.

Flora’s art is inspired by the natural world. She combines stained-glass commissions with working as a freelancer for studios across the UK. In 2016, Flora collaborated with artist and illustrator Vicki Turner and their work was showcased on many design blogs including Design Milk. Flora’s art has also been featured in magazines including The Financial Times, Elle Decoration, In Her Studio, Psychologies, and Homes & Antiques.
