I loved this course and I loved learning art history that wasn't European.

This course is given by an expert. She knows alot and explains everything so easily. It is obvious that she has alot of teaching experience which is nice. Unlike some of the Udemy courses I bought, this was an really good investment. If I forget something I just can go back to the course. Also lots of patterns are given you can print and trace. Including flower motifs!

It was a great course, you get to know the history and learn designs and create your own as a last project. I just hoped i could learn some more flower motifs and designs from it . Overall thank you it was great

It's very interesting course, but I would recommend it only to people who love percise painting. For me it was too detailed and I haven't finished it.

A very good course, well presented! I recommend highly this class!

I will be referring back to this course many times as i practice and enjoy creating this type of art. I hope to delve further into the subject by utilizing the resource material suggested. All of Ezra's tips come in handy:)! The only thing I had trouble with was opening some of the attached files, and i wish the view of her work as the lessons progressed was done from a better angle to see what she was doing.Thank you for this great course, i enjoyed it very much!

I love Esra's courses, her knowledge about the history of islamic art and her tipps on books, pattern sources and materials. I also like the pattern very much ! Great class, definitely recommend taking it, if someone's interested in Islamic Illumination !

I have just finished my first 8 pointed, circular, biomorphic patterns... And I am amazed and inspired by each detail it takes, but also the history behind this ancient art form.

I had a great time finishing this course. So much so that I painted one and a half Shamsahs! Esra is a great instructor. It's been a little over a year that I have been taking her classes and I am hooked to them now! She is very clear, supportive, fun and knows a lot about the history and evolution of the art form (something I value a lot personally). Check out her other classes as well (on her website) - it's nearly impossible to be disappointed!
