“ Getting Started Now we're ready to talk about cameras and shooting and equipment and all the stuff that we'll need to make this image happen. First things first, we've got our trusty camera here. I'm using a Canon Rebel T6i. That's very specific to me. It doesn't have to be a Canon, it doesn't have to be my kind of camera. It could be any camera. A DSLR is preferable because you'll be able to play with the settings a bit more, but I've seen beautiful photography taken with an iPhone, so it's really whatever is at your disposal.
