“ Paintings: Methods and Techniques In this lesson, I'll show you how to apply acrylic to your piece. The cool thing is we already have our draft, so you can reuse your draft and experiment a ton of times as I do. I sometimes do one version in watercolor or acrylic, and mix it up and see which version looks the best. I prefer to leave my final draft untouched. You could rework your final draft and do your final linework over this, but I suggest keeping it as is, and having it as a backup whenever you need to redraw something.
