Illustrated Picturebooks: Create Poetic Vignette Imagery

This has been a super fascinating class! Cecilia explains everything so well and makes it easy to follow! I never thought about vignettes as a way to create a whole picture book. It's a little less intimidating to me to think in smaller stories. A great way to get started!

Great course. The instructions are clear, step-by-step, and the examples are inspiring. Cecilia gives encouraging feedback very promptly. Enjoyable as well as instructive!

This course has really sparked new and exciting ideas for me in so many ways, and helped me move beyond the intimidation of a blank page. Cecilia takes you through the process of telling a story in one or two illustrations, from exploring themes to creation of the final product. The idea of creating a concept book is the focus that I need to keep practicing and developing my skills.

É un corso interessante, ho seguito le lezioni con interesse imparando un modo nuovo per dare vita alle parole.Purtroppo non so usare bene Photoshop ma mi piace molto l'effetto visivo che Cecilia riesce ad ottenere.

Cecilia Ruiz is one of the most created & gifted artists I've had the pleasure of taking a Domestika course from. She is extremely thorough and her thought process is like none other. She really is a fascinating artist. Her work is beautiful and to achieve it takes so much work & thought - it's truly eye opening. I would take another course from her.
