Karla Rodríguez, better known as Miss Étoile or Dolle Étoile, is an illustrator who is inspired in her creations by the aesthetics of fairy tales and porcelain dolls. She studied digital graphic design at the International University of the Californias in Tijuana, although she later specialized in drawing and illustration. She currently works as a freelancer and has her own brand of products and accessories bearing her illustrations.

Her work is in countless publications, in several children's stories by Write Brain Books, USA, and 21 Draw, Sweden, in the fantasy art books The Enchanted Forest and The Elven Path by Black Fox Press, UK, and many others. She has exhibited collectively and on her own at Gallery Nucleus, Haven Gallery, Casa de la Cultura in Mexicali, Galería José María Velasco, Soumaya, and Casa de la Cultura de Playas.
