“Sewing Your Dress While I'd usually finish these off on my overlocker at home. I'll do this exact stitch on my regular sewing machine for this one. Nice and easy, and it adds a nice vintage, handmade touch as well. You often find the zigzag stitch in a lot of vintage dresses, and I think that's a nice nod. Once you've finished neatening your seam allowances, it's time to press these seams, and then we can start prepping the neckline.
