I’m midway in the course and I’m learning a lot already! Porter gives good instruction, lots of details, good examples. It’s good for those who are new to publications design but also for one like me who has a bit of background and needs a refresher.

Great course. I got it to learn more about newspaper/magazine design styles. I am working on a website project about journalism. This class is a great help!

Good overview without being to nitty gritty.

One of the best courses on Domestika. Mark Porter is erudite and an engaging teacher. The course is well structured and has give me the confidence to redesign a magazine with the supporting redesigns of social media etc. Real world examples are used and available to reflect on in your own time. An excellent resource to return to. My best buy to date on Domestika.

I think this was a very good course! Well structured and good input. I am already working with indesign and have been working for different magazines. Now I'd love to create a new CI for a magazine :)
