“ Hi, my name is Salma El Kashef. I'm a photographer and filmmaker from Cairo, Egypt. I studied cinematography in Egypt, Cairo, and I worked as a director of photography assistant in many Egyptian TV drama series, which opened my eyes to develop my cinematic style. Seeing actors, dealing with them, seeing a real film set, helped me a lot develop my cinematic style. Sometimes we worked up to 13 or 14 hours, which was very challenging for me.
