“INTRODUCTION Presentation Hello, I'm Gimena Romero, and I'm a textile artist. I majored in Visual Arts in La Esmeralda. I specialized in Engraving and Photography. Then I majored in Illustration. I think the transition to embroidery came very natural at the time. I believe embroidery is a drawing. It works lines on a plane. Embroidery is to drawing what knitting is to sculpture.
