About the final project for: Introduction to Modeling in Rhinoceros 3D

3D modeling with Rhinoceros

“I welcome you to the last unit! After all the efforts you have made during the course, it is time to share your result with the world. In order to show you all the steps of your creative process, I will show you how to structure your final project. Start your project with a freehand drawing. It doesn't matter that the result of this sketch is photorealistic, the important thing is to communicate your project idea. Working by hand will help you focus ideas better.

Once finished, digitize your design by inserting it into Rhino and start modeling the components of your object. Start with the main construction lines.
Then, transform the 2D lines into the various 3D volumes of your project.
Use layers to tidy up your project and have fun customizing each component.
After modeling, download and install Ultimaker Cura and transform the geometries created in Rhino into geometries suitable for 3D printing.
Get a 3D printer, set it up for printing and start it up! Once the pieces are printed, clean and assemble them! Your item is finished and ready to use!
I can't wait to admire your 3D printed object and engage in constructive conversations about all of our works. So, don't forget to leave feedback to other people who have taken the course. I will try to be as present as possible in the forum to be able to give you some advice and get to know each other better. Soon!”

With this course, I wanted to bring you closer to the design process and 3D modeling, encouraging you to rethink objects in a more creative way. Practice with Rhino and Ultimaker Cura. Once you have learned how to manage these software and their functions, it will be easier to customize your camera and apply them on other projects. Now you kno...”
