Expressive Techniques for Oil Painting

Ana Laso is an artist specialized in oil painting techniques. Her passions revolve around the figurative and the abstract and her weakness is jazz music, which she reinterprets using color and expressiveness in her work.

She trained at the Taller del Prado, the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and the Escuela de Arte Atenea, as well as the workshops of artists such as Miguel Coronado, Paco Abuja, and Salvador Antúnez del Cerro. She has exhibited in the major cities around Spain and several other countries in the Americas. Her constantly evolving artwork emanates a fresh and elegant style, with soft tones and silky strokes, evoking emotions through color and inspired by music.
