About the final project for: Advanced Techniques for Rigging and Deformation

Advanced rigging and deformation techniques

“Once all the lessons are completed now as a final project I encourage you to apply these same techniques in your rig. The techniques explained in this course are somewhat more complex, and although we apply them to the rig seen in previous courses of introduction the concept can be applied to any rig. Review the videos carefully and follow the steps carefully, since any wrong connection can make nothing work as expected, but if you follow the videos carefully I'm sure you will not have any problems. I will review the forums and I will assist you as much as possible, but be patient as some may take a couple of days to answer you, especially if I have to prepare a more elaborate answer. I also encourage you to help each other if you see that someone is stuck and you know the answer or have some idea of a possible solution. The best thing to show me your rig is that you make a video, either with a small animation or a screenshot, but you can see that you have built what we have given in the lessons. I encourage you to do the project because you will learn a lot. In the second course we will start from the rig of this course and we will see the deformation part. Thank you very much and a lot of encouragement!”

Partial transcription of the video

And finally we have seen an example of dynamic curves that we apply on the character's mustache, But it can be applied to other parts of the body. Now, as a final project, I would encourage you to continue the course and apply the concepts we have seen in your rig, whether it's in the same character, in the other character that we provide, or in any model you ha...”
