“Influences In this lesson, we will look at the artists who influenced me. The first book we will see is "The Invention of Nature" written by Andrea Wulf. In this book the trips, adventures, the discoveries of Alexander von Humboldt and Bonpland, who accompanied him to make the illustrations. I'll show you illustrations that inspired me a lot for this project. In this illustration, "Naturgemalde", or paintings of nature, Von Humboldt made a test of how the plants were depending on how the Chimborazo volcano rose. Compared different mountains and it was a key point for my personal development...”
