“Inspirations In this lesson I will show you books and objects that have inspired me in my work and continue to inspire me. The first book is the catalog of an exhibition by Kuniyoshi, a 19th century Japanese illustrator / engraver. He is one of my favorite artists, like almost all the Japanese art of woodcut. For example, even this illustration, which speaks to us of demons, is really full of details, also very botanical and very illustrated.
