“Setting Up Our Pages Now, we'll begin setting up our pages. I'll use Adobe InDesign as it's industry standard, but it's just a tool, you can use any software you're familiar with. Let's set up the pages, creating the document we'll work in. There's a variety of formats out there. You have standard newspaper sizes like tabloid, broadsheet, or Berliner. You're not tied to those. You can pick the format appropriate for your content. It can be of any size that you wish. Growing up, he was always reading magazines and newspapers and eventually went on to study at art college. There, the then art director of The Sunday Times set a task to redesign the first three pages of the newspaper. Harry quickly became fascinated with newspaper design and was offered his first job in the industry by the same director.
Since then, Harry has worked for publications like The Telegraph, as well as The Sunday Times, helping them to tell important stories with his clean, concise, but punchy style. He’s also won several awards including the Society of Publication Designers Merit Award and the World’s Best Designed Newspaper along with his team in 2019.
