“ Lighting Ok, next, we'll start working on... what will be our core shadows. Let's mess around with the ambient occlusion now. I don't want to go too dark over there. Now I'll start working on some of the wrapping shadows. I'm putting this layer back on so I can see a bit better. This is what we've done so far. I'm giving a pretty good 3D feel to everything. Now we'll start pushing it even further. Make this green. I'm going to set this to Soft Light. I'm gonna fill it dark. Anywhere our forms are turning into these core shadows. I'm going to add this and you can see what's happening there...”

Later, he was able to pursue a career that married elements of his interests together with his tech savviness. Most of Chiggs work involves designing characters, sets, vehicles, and props, for film, TV, and animation, utilizing both 2D and 3D approaches.
With a broad range of interests and a fervor for learning new skills, Chigg views his creative process as an evolution. He sees drawing, painting, and design as a visual representation of the work that you invest, what you’ve learned, and how well you understand the world around you. Chigg has worked for clients around the world including Warner Bros, Disney, Riot Games, and Netflix, and across titles such as Black Mirror, War of the Worlds series, and Artemis Fowl.
