About the video: Structure, Stability, and Volumes
Overview
“Picking up the sketch I've just drawn, I will build up the structure of my animal, focusing on the bones and checking its stability and the general perspective. The idea is to get a schematic skeleton of the animal so as to create a realistic body shape.”
In this video lesson Julie Mellan addresses the topic: Structure, Stability, and Volumes, which is part of the Domestika online course: Dynamic Animal Illustration for Children’s Stories. Learn to draw anthropomorphic characters that bring joy to young readers by exploring the fundamentals of animal anatomy, posing, and stylization.
