“Weaving Materials Now, we'll have a look at some of the materials and tools that we commonly use in weaving and the materials and tools we'll use to create our final project. When creating tapestries, we're usually making them on a tool that we're calling a loom. These can go from being big, quite complicated structures to something quite simple. We need a simple frame with four pieces of wood that allows us to put in some vertical threads or yarns, and then put in horizontal threads or yarns.
