“Getting the Creative Juices Flowing In this lesson, we'll start putting pen to paper, I'll show you how to warm up and I'll show you some lettering and pattern techniques. To get some ideas, I like to do some letter warm-ups. To do that, I write out words in my regular handwriting. I use my pencil and I'll write down the word "creativity". This is where the dotted paper is handy because you can space out your letters evenly. Make sure to space them out a little, because we're going to put some embellishments around it.
