“The Physics of Light Let's talk a little about the inner elements that comprise the light and the shadow. Before we begin, let's look at it on a 3/4 angle. We were using a profile view. Now, we're placing the light on a 3/4 angle so we can see how it projects downward and forward. And we'll be placing the sphere... I'll place the floor a little lower, and then block its path with the sphere so that it will cast a shadow on the floor plane, the plane where it sits. We're using a less solid, softer brush.
