“Light and Mood In this lesson, we will add some light and mood to our image. The first thing we will do is to paint in some atmosphere to it. Let's go. Let's create a new group and let's name it Light. In this group, we create another group and we name this Atmosphere. Create a new layer and name this one Atmosphere as well. Now, we can start painting in some atmosphere to the image. Painting an atmosphere means that we need to paint more in the areas which are farther from the camera, so we bring in that depth to the image. Take the brush and pick a blue color from the sky. Sonny Holmberg
A course by Sonny Holmberg
Sonny Holmberg is a Danish architect and visualization artist. After studying architecture at the Aalborg University in Denmark, he went on to work as a visualization artist for Henning Larsen Architects in Munich, and a few years later as a 3D artist at Pixelflakes Architectural Marketing in London. After six years abroad, Sonny moved back to Copenhagen and started his own visualization studio, Depth Per Image, which specializes in crafting visual storytelling for architects.
Since 2019, Depth Per Image has worked with clients such as Arkitena, SQ1, Terroir, Störmer Murphy and Partners, Morris+Company, Lundhagem, Tulinus Lind, Loci, Jürgen Engel Architekten, CF Møller Architects, and Sweco. Sonny’s work has received international recognition, such as a nomination for best commissioned image at the CGarchitect 3D Awards in 2020. His work has also been exhibited in the Tromsø Museum and North West Museum and Art Gallery, Terroir.
