“The Materials In this lesson, I will show you the basic tool kit. This is all you need to buy and all I have in my tool kit at home. With all these tools I will show you, you will be able to knit any of my patterns. If I start with the knitting needles, which is the most important part of your knitting, these are the ones that I prefer. They're wooden ones, birch wood or driftwood. As you can see, mine are quite short. They're about 20 cm or 8 inches long. I only buy two sizes. The 3.5 mm or 4 mm are the ones that I use for all my patterns.
