Knitting Realistic Stuffed Animals: Make a Puppy from Yarn
“Congratulations! You have reached the end of this course. Thank you so much for taking part and I hope you have enjoyed it. It's now time to work on your project and share what you have created. Let me remind you first to take your time. You are going to spend a lot of hours knitting your puppy, so relax your arms, don't rush any part of it and enjoy every single minute. Here are the main steps to follow: Practice with the Basic Puppy Head Work through the Basic Puppy Pattern and knit the basic puppy head, using any yarn for now. This way, you will have a prototype you can refer to before embarking on your own, and it also serves you as a practice regarding the shaping technique. Choose Your Puppy Decide on what puppy you'd like to have as a knitted pet. Dig out or take photos, if it's a pet of your own, or find images from Pinterest or books. You can sketch it out using pencil and paper or take a tracing – this is only to get the feel of the outline, so nothing too artistic! Customise the Pattern Choose some yarn and start designing your own puppy using the Design Workbook. I have blanked out sections for you to add in your own measurements, so you can create your very own blueprint. Knit the Puppy Following your customised head pattern, which you have created in your Design Workbook, start knitting your chosen puppy. Then, complete the body following the instructions in the Basic Puppy Pattern.

Another point is to use the same colour markers that I do, it will make more sense when it comes to the seaming of the puppy. If you follow the colour guide, it will make the process ...”
