“Creating Our Base Phase in Illustrator It's finally time to get going. Firstly, let's look at recreating our phrase in its most basic format. We'll grab a photo of our sketch from before, bring into Illustrator, and start to create those vector shapes and organize those layers. First of all, I'm going to create a new doc. Now, I like to work at 1400 x 1400 pixels. This is quite a good size because sites like Instagram set their minimum at 1080. If you go below 1080, everything has to be upscaled and you lose quality and it starts to look a bit fuzzy. If we go a bit higher, we're much safer ...”
