About the final project for: Communication Techniques for Creative Presentations

Communication Techniques for Creative Presentations

“I want to thank you for having accompanied me to the end. This Domestika course has been for me one of the most important projects of this year and I am very happy to have shared this time with you, albeit virtually. Before saying goodbye comes the most important part, sharing the final project. I encourage you to see mine as an example, but only as inspiration, apply what you have learned and develop a totally personal project. Now we are going to review the different development phases of the final project: Preparation of the presentation The first step is deciding what you want to communicate. Then you will have to choose what type of client or target you are going to address and understand their psychology. You can choose to do it in a general plan, but the most effective thing would be to choose if you are going to expose your idea to a Batman, a Superman ... With all the conceptual part decided, get down to work and prepare the script of your speech as we have seen in the course. Define the structure of the presentation: how you are going to start, how you are going to argue and how you are going to close the speech, always attracting the attention of your audience. Recording the speech Now comes the moment of truth: stand in front of the camera and record yourself. Prepare a video using a medium shot and in a maximum of 5 minutes expose your idea, sell your product or project. Remember everything we saw: energy, because this presentation is your victory or failure, take care of your speech. When you are in front of the camera, take care of your body language, use those gestures as I explained, show attitude with your facial expression ... you can! Upload the video to a platform such as YouTube to be able to share it later along with the rest of the elements of your final project. To serve as an inspiration, I showed you my presentation in the lesson "Final presentation and feedback" in Unit 5.

presentation Finally, attach the supporting presentation that you would project or deliver to your audience or during the meeting with your client. You can share the images that make up your presentation separately or join them in a gif, for example. Here is a GIF of my support presentation, but I also leave it in PDF in the additional resources of Unit 5.
Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your presentation and the steps that have led you to it. Upload your video to a platform like YouTube and share it with all of us. It would be great if you showed a picture of each step and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. I am looking forward to seeing your final work! Here's my last tip: believe it, believe in your project, believe in yourself. And you will see how then all the work will be easier. Remember that Domestika is a great forum, I encourage you to interact with all the colleagues in the forum, so we can meet, exchange ideas, opinions, anecdotes about our profession, our final work and about the course. Let's create a passionate community about communication because, as we saw from the first class, communication is always the key to our professional and personal success.”

“Final project Also the good ends. We reached the end of our Domestika course. First of all, I wanted to thank you for having accompanied me to the end. Remember that now comes the time for your final project. I encourage you to look at mine as an example. Don't make it exact, let it be an inspiration. Get in front of the camera and record yourself, I want to see you get to work. Prepare a video using a medium shot and in five minutes maximum expose your idea, sell your product and account for your project. First understand and choose what type of personality your client has. You can choose ...”
